Patty was born and raised in Southern California and lived 56 years within a 5 mile radius. The beauty and outdoor lifestyle of the PNW began calling to her in 2010 while visiting her oldest daughter at college in Spokane. In early 2022, the dream of moving to North Idaho became a reality.
Patty is married and has 3 adult children. The oldest two are married and living in Arizona and Texas, respectively, while the youngest chose to stay in Southern California.
Patty’s work experience has included Receptionist, Customer Service, Sales, Government Proposal Pricing, Business Administration, and most recently, Bookkeeping and Human Resource Administration. Her favorite part of each of those positions was working with people and meeting their needs.
Over the years, Patty and her husband Josh have housed several non-family young adults who needed a place to live. That experience was rewarding and fun as they helped each of those additional “kids” launch into adulthood and self-reliance. Because Patty’s passions are relationship building and serving, she was also blessed to welcome a group of Infantry Marines (from her son’s Battalion) into her home for 4 years of weekends and holidays, providing a little “getaway” from USMC Base life. While all of those young men are now civilians living in Alaska, New York, and many states between, she continues to stay in touch with them through phone calls and texts.
Patty spends much of her time training for IronMan Triathlons. In between training, she also enjoys hiking, reading, spending time with friends, and being “Gammy” to her first grandbaby.
